Stay with your horse

Horse Livery: The charge per horse is £6 per day or £35 per week, with a £30 refundable deposit.

BOOKING CONDITIONS

Horses: are accepted on the strict condition that they are in good health, wormed and not carrying any transferable diseases. The horses are the responsibility of the owner/keeper and South Farm accepts no responsibility or liability for any damage/injury caused to your horse or by your horse on or off South Farm property. Payment of livery to be made prior to arrival on the same basis as that of the cottages. Horses to be removed from South Farm at the same time as vacation of the cottage unless prior written agreement given.

DIY Stables & Grazing:

available on DIY basis. Bring your horse on holiday to discover the wonderful bridleways. Whether you are interested in long-distance trail riding, endurance riding or simply exploring the beautiful countryside with your own horse, South Farm is the perfect choice for both human and equine guests. 

A wheelbarrow and tools for mucking out are provided, and the stables must being left in a clean condition ready for the next inhabitant.

Hay and straw can be provided by prior request for a small fee.

You will find details of horse rides that can be taken directly from South farm - tried and tested routes. There is an abundance of rides in the immediate area taking in local bridleways, and small little used country roads and others with wide verges. The area is very scenic and horseback a lovely way to explore.
